Will it stay free?
Yes. Making and downloading invoices, quotes and receipts stays free, with no limits. Later we’ll add optional Pro extras such as recurring invoices and automatic reminders. The first 500 people who create an account get Pro free for life, worth $100 a year.
Do I need to sign up?
No. As a guest, your invoice stays in your browser and is never sent to our servers. Sign in with Google, Apple or your email and a password only if you want invoice numbering, a customer list and payment tracking.
What is the difference between an estimate, a quote and an invoice?
An estimate is an approximate price before work starts. A quote is a fixed price the customer can accept before it expires. An invoice asks for payment for work you have done.
Can I use this instead of a Word, Excel or Google Docs invoice template?
Yes. You fill in a form instead of editing a document, the totals and sales tax are worked out for you, and you get a PDF that looks the same everywhere.
