What we work out for you
- GST split: CGST + SGST within a state, IGST between states, and CGST + UTGST in union territories without a legislature. The place of supply is filled in from the customer’s GSTIN.
- The right title: Tax Invoice, Bill of Supply or Invoice, depending on your GST registration.
- Amount in words in the Indian system, for example “Rupees One Lakh Twenty Thousand Only”.
- Receipts: a ₹1 revenue-stamp box for cash over ₹5,000, a warning for cash of ₹2,00,000 or more, and a reminder to add the landlord’s PAN when rent is over ₹1,00,000 a year.
- A year in one PDF: rent and salary receipts are numbered and dated month by month.

Are the GST invoice and receipt generators free?

Can I make an invoice without a GSTIN?
Yes. Choose that you are not registered for GST and the document is titled Invoice, with no GST charged. Registered sellers get a Tax Invoice, and composition or exempt sellers a Bill of Supply.
When does a receipt need a revenue stamp?
When more than ₹5,000 is paid in cash. The receipt then has a box for a ₹1 revenue stamp, signed across. Payments by UPI, bank transfer, cheque or card don’t need one.
