Frequently asked questions
What does EOM mean on an invoice?
End of month. “30 days EOM” counts the 30 days from the last day of the invoice’s month, so every invoice from one month falls due on the same day.
Can I charge interest on late payments?
Only if your agreed terms say so. There’s no automatic late-payment interest between businesses in Australia.
Does 30 days count weekends?
Yes: payment terms count calendar days. If the due date falls on a weekend, many clients pay on the next business day.
